We keep our 06 Endura under an RV garage enclosed on all sides except the back with a heater inside the coach to keep things ok; Some people say to keep the slides at least partially open during winter storage others say it doesn't matter; Any thoughts? Thanks, Jeff.

Ps: Still love our Endura, still racking up at least 7-8 trips per year!

Slides are made such that they are sealed when fully closed or when fully opened, but not when in-between. I would think you would make it easier for critters to get in if you leave the slide in-between.

Thats what I thought as well; I just wandered if it had something to do with the seals being better in the out position rather than the in position; or it may be intended to keep the carpet under the slide exposed to the heat? thus keeping it in the out position would keep all of the interior exposed to the heater during the winter storage; I think I'll just continue to keep it slides in for the winter; our RV garage only has about 18" of clearance on each side of the coach any ways; thanks for your help, Jeff.
