Has anyone found a larger lp tank or dual tank that will fit on the 08 Endura? We just went to Wis and had to fill lp every 2.5 days with heat only on 50 deg. There must be a better way. Thanks.

Wow, that does not seem right. Mine is not a 2008, but the LP seems to last quite a long time. Do you know what size tank it is?
Are you only using the inside level monitor, or the one on the tank? I know when my inside level monitor shows near empty, the gauge on the tank says I have well over a 1/4 tank, and the amount it takes to fill it up confirms the gauge on the tank is correct.
You could add an Extend-a-Stay fitting and carry an extra portable tank. That might be the easiest way.
Good luck,
Bill

My SuperNova has a 64 pound propane tank, I would assume the same as the Endura. On our last trip, we used about a half a tank. For those days that are 50 and above, I carry a small electric space heater to keep from using the propane. Also, we turn our hot water heater on just before we shower and off afterward. The major culprit seems to be the furnace as it was in my last coach. During summer months, we use hardly any propane but let that furnace come on and there goes the usage. I had 100 pound tank in my last coach and it would be nice if these had larger tanks especially since I don't have an electric water heater option. I looked in the bay today and there does not seem to be any space to install a larger tank. I guess we will just have to learn to conserve and live with it.

Good luck.

My tank is an 18 gallon tank, not sure of the poundage. It only will take 12 gal. beause of the 80 % fill factor. I have looked at both gauges and they both seem similar. My compartment sure seems big enough to handle a larger tank or maybe even a dual tank. I used to have (2) 40 lb tanks and could go for almost 2 weeks in old weather and now this only a couple days, Not acceptable, there must be an answer. Help!

Propane is 4 lbs per gallon, so you probably have the standard 64-lb tank.

Your usage seems high to me. When you're on shore power, try supplementing it with a small electric heater. We bought a nice small "milkhouse" heater at WalMart for less than $30.

I don't know if it pertains to all new propane tanks or not, but when we purchased our 2008 BT Cruiser we were told specifically that the tank would leak propane if it was not turned all the way on and/or all the way off. That has always been the way we have used our tanks, but we thought it interesting the delivery checkout person was so emphatic about it. Just a thought to consider.
