freightliner chassis recall issues

We just bought a 2008 crescendo 40UL bunkhouse model. In 2 attempts to deliver it to my house, the RV has had something in the braking system fail. I am told it is a factory recall by freightliner. has anyone else had similar problems? we have not driven the coach yet, this is the the RV sales lot experiencing these problems. wondering if i am buying a total lemon. hope someonecan help me :?

No I don't think you bought a Lemon? But there are recalls on a lot of different manufacturers of chassis builders. If you want to see some of the recalls, join Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA). Every month they have a list of all the recalls on motorhomes and chassis builders in their magazine. I looked through a few to see if I would find the problem you are experiencing, and the only thing I could find put out by Freightliner was some kind of a Bendix problem with rubber gaskets.
I can sense you are starting to freak out with your purchase, but I believe that most RVers when purchasing new have gone through some issues and that is just part of being an RVer. As much as we pay for these toys it should not be like that, but it is. :lol:
