Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone is quite knowledgeable and has helpful advice for me. My family and I are considering buying a 1995 Gulfstream 32ft Class C RV but I just don't know much about it. I have owned an '87 class c fleetwood jamboree and know how a motorhome operates but never owned a gulfstream. This one has the rear dually plus two additional tires making it a total of 6 tires in the back. My questions are:

1. Were the extra 2 wheels added on as a custom build by Gulfstream?
2. Can these long rv's still pull an 18' boat? (I am asking just because this RV is so long and i'm sure heavy)
3. Would this RV be too heavy for the frame which is why the extra wheels were added?
4. Are Gulfstream motorhomes good rv's? Are they well built?

Any help or insight on this motorhome would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Tony

A Class C with a tag axle? I've never heard of or seen such a thing. Do you have a picture of it that you could post?

Thank you for your response. This is a picture of a similar RV to the one I am looking to buy with the exception that the one I am interested in is a little older and a Ford.

Usually, a tag axle like that is an add-on by the RV manufacturer (Gulf Stream) rather than the original chassis manufacturer (Ford).
