retiredalaskan, welcome to the website. Although I do not own a Prairie Schooner, I have seen many and think they are a very nice coach. Hopefully those that do own them will answer you post. Good luck and enjoy the hunt.

While i bought it!!!!!
we picked up the coach 2006 ,34 FMT prairie schooner, last week in MO. The wife liked the floor plan it's still growing on me . I don't think the fit & finish is what it should be, but what is today i just finished changing out a wheel bearing seal that the factory damaged when installing slung grease on the back side of wheel that's how i found it .Making other small changes inverter, heat strip, adding more batteries, ect, ect, Hopefully it will be ready by the 19 of may to go up to new england.
Thanks to all for their input ....

Congrats on the new Coach. Sounds like your dealer could have fixed the wheel bearing under warranty, maybe they will reimburse you for the parts at least. The 34FMT is a great floor plan!

We traded up to a Yellowstone which is identicle to the Prairie Schooner last June & we love the extra room the 34' gives us. Have been with Gulf Stream for 6 years now & like their products and have really enjoyed camping with their RV Club. The bedroom has lots of room, even with our king sized bed. If you can, get the arctic pkg (heated tanks & extra insulation) which saves on your furnace & air conditioner. Good luck.

My wife & I bought a 34FMT after shopping for over a year, I like the floor plan and the head room in the bath sine I'm 6'4". The only bug that remains is the living room side leaks during a rain when closed. The dealer has changed the seal but I feel the slide needs to close tighter at the top to fix the problem. Other than that ....love it.
