We are new buyers and need to know if our 2005 F150 4X4 truck should pull it.

It will depend on how your truck is equiped. A 2005 4X4 F150 can tow anywhere between 6000 lbs. and 9500 lbs. depending on engine size, axle ratio and wheelbase. Check this guide.

Check the UVW (from sticker inside cabinet) of the trailer that you are looking at and add approx. 1000 lbs. (gear, food, clothes, etc.) That will give you an estimate of what you will be towing.

Our 26' Gulfstream Innsbruck weighs 4800 lbs. dry weight. The weight tag on ours was over the front storage area on a metal plate.

Our Ford F150 really doesn't like pulling it especially up big hills and it can tow up to 11,000 lbs. Go figure.
