Is it possible to draining the hot water tank without removing the lower bolt on the outside of the unit??
My bolt is rusted up, not able to remove.

You can open the low point drains and the relief valve on the tank or both a cold and hot water faucet inside, that shoud drain most of the water out. Try a 1 1/16" thin wall socket on the tank drain, you should be able to break it loose.

I'm still looking for the low point drains, can't find them.
Is the bolt a regular thread?? (clock wise)

That lower bolt on the outside of the tank is the annode rod. That is the easiest way to drain the tank. The low point drain plugs are in the compartment with the water pump. just pull them upwards to drain.
You might find one in the sewer hookup compartment also.

Yes, clockwise to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen.
