Hey all!

The exciting news is that we have set a date for our shakedown trip this Friday-Saturday! We have decided to keep it short and fun so we are going to Cabela's in Owatonna to try out the new Sedona. I don't know what else a man could ask for!??! 8)

The in yard runs we have given it seem to be doing great so we'll have to see what we come up with there at Cabela's parking lot....but I really don't expect any surprises. One question for you that have done this.... do you put your front jacks down in their parking lot or just stay hooked to truck and leave it at that? I am thinking the jack would be necessary for sway stability....but I want your opinions. Thanks!

Time to warm it up for the season!

Happy camping/rving to all! :D

I typically lower the jacks for stability whether I unhook or not.

We are back from our over nighter and am happy to report that everything worked well for this run. We left the generator home and camped with the 12 volt abilities. Next run we will go to a campground and test all of the electric stuff that we haven't gotten to yet....although it works in the yard!

Here is a pic from the stay.....

Cabela's is a welcoming spot for someone who wants to do a little shopping, catch a breakfast buffet, or visit the surrounding ammenities. I made sure a few of the folks in the store knew that we had camped out there and also patronized the store. They even had kennels that we could have left our dogs in had we brought them with! 8)

What a great photo the unit looks good glad you enjoyed yourself and that you did not find too much wrong I wish they had parking lots like that over here we would not be able to get into most lots with unit they like to put trees and bars up to stop the kids racing as they seem to do
If there was a lot I could get into I would be able to try my hand at reversing
