I have a 96 Scenic Cruiser.
Does anyone know how to bypass or remove the safety switch, so that the forward TV can be used when motor is running?

I did this on our previous coach.

Find where the TV plugs into, on ours it was in the cabinet above the driver.
Unplug the TV and make sure that the power is off to the coach so that you do not get shocked or worse BEFORE you go any farther. Remove the screws that hold the outlet in place. Pull the outlet out a little so that you can see the back of it.

You should see 2 smaller wires, these are the 12v wires that disconnect disable the outlet when the switch is turned on. You will also see the 110v wires going into the outlet. Verify which is 12v and which is 110v.
You don't want to cut the wrong wire!!

What I did was cut just one of the 12v wires so that circuit for the disconnect was broken and would not disable the TV when the switch was on.

I sealed the end of the cut wire and put everything back in place.
Now the TV would work while going down the road.
Just remember that this is illegal in most if not all states for the driver to be able to view while driving.

ahhh. Fantastic. I will try this.
I plan on removing the bulky original TV and installing flat panel TV from ceiling....so that it will actually be behind my head and no distraction, but available to the passengers. Hopefully, this is legal.
Thanks Ron.
