I have heard from more than one source that Gulfstream is no longer in business. Is this true?

I don't know if you have anything new, but this thread was started in July.

If the link below doesn't take you there, go back to the Class A forum and check about 20-25 posts below your post and look for one titled "Gulf Stream Motorized Going Away? Rumors?"

Not true! Gulf Stream did cut the motorized division until the exonomy picks up. All they got going now are the travel trailers and fifth wheels, but if you need a coach they will manufacture as ordered from the factory. That is what they told me over the phone. Trailers are selling very well and has kept the company afloat.

"but if you need a coach they will manufacture as ordered from the factory."

Yeah, just what I would want to buy, a class A coach from a company not really making them, but they will if you want one. I personally do not want a coach that is made by the line people making a travel trailer. Their is a reason people a trained to do things on a line.

Besides the fact that the people making the coach may not be equipped to handle the build in training fully, no fault of the employee, they also would not have the pieces for the coach without spacial ordering parts vs bulk orders. This then comes at a higher cost.

No thank you.
