Well we made it up the ALCAN in October to Fairbanks and the MH did GREAT. So here's my question. Do I need to do anything special to the onboard generator to protect it from super cold temps? It had an oil and filter change before the trip and I maybe put half an hour on it during the drive. I have already winterized the freshwater system and dump tanks. I plan on removing both the engine and house batteries and keeping them in the garage on a maintenance charger. Any other ideas on protecting me from the 40 below that's right around the corner would be great. Thanks

'Bout the only thing is the same as any small engine...

You can install a fuel shut-off..Place it before the filter, then shut it off, pull the filter and pour some Sta-bil in, run some sta-bil though, drain the carb and fog the cylinders...This will clear out the pump too..

If you generator is liquid cooled, you might want to test the coolant for freeze protection... Good Luck
