Hi everyone,

The low clearance POI database from http://www.lowclearances.com
is currently being offered for half price so I got in there quick.

Thought I'd share the good news.

I am new to RV'ing so please don't hammer me too much on this question but is low clearance really a big issue for motorhomes? Are there alot of areas that have low clearance issues? I have a 33ft class A and am very surprised that this could be an issue for me.

Thanks
Newbie

Just got to watch where you go. It's very easy to not pay attention. Those low hangers come up on ya guickly. If you have a GPS check out Magellan's Copilot. It is for Truckers and is a god send. Check it out. In reality, we are driving big old trucks. :D

I bought a truckers Garmin after having some close calls and having to turn around a few times over the years. It also routes me around weight limit bridges, etc. It has been great, particularly since I have a taller than normal rig. I can set it for my height, width, weight, etc. I like to stay off of the interstates, so driving America's non-interstate roads causes one to run into more low clearances, weight limits, etc.
