Getting the motorhome ready for a trip this week, plugged in power and turned the Refrig/freezer on. I just checked it 3 hours later and noticed neither are getting cold. The A/C light is on, the only thing I noticed is that the motorhome is on a slight tilt. Does the motorhome need to be level? I will get into it a little more on Sunday. Any suggestions.............. Does the light come on when you open the door to the refrigerator? If so, you are getting power to it so you have a cooling system issue.

If the light does not come on, I suspect you have a power issue.

Will it operate on the propane setting? If it does, that would indicate a power issue.

Good luck!

TC,

The light inside the door does not come on, although all of the lights above, re: A/C, Propane are all on. I tried switching to propane, still does not work. I pull the panel off this morning outside, check all four fuses and all ok. The breaker is on and the refrig outlet outside is ok. The light inside the refrig was going on and off last year, I thought it may be the bulb. So far no luck.

TC,

Just an update. Well I moved the motorhome and leveled it up. Once I did that the Frig/Freez started working. I guess it may have been to much of a tilt. As far as the inside Frig light, I had voltage to the bulb. What I did find out is that maple Syrup does not work well with the switch. I clean the switch and re-install, all is working. Well back outside to finsh the motorhome vehicle check, load up and head to the Pennstate Graduation.....................

Yea! Glad when a solution can be found. In all my miles and different terrains, I have never had an issue where the level of the coach interfered with the operation of the refrigerator. Syrup will cause a problem with most anything it comes in contact with except pancakes and waffles.

Have a great trip!
