Friendship slide

My neighbor has a Friendship and I noticed that the two slides in the bedroom do not pull in all the way. They are in from the top of the slide, but the bottom has about a one inch to two inch gap. Does that mean it is out of adjustment or something like a roller has broken. Maybe some of you Friendship owners can throw in some of your thoughts as to what the problem might be and I will relay the info to him
