Gulfstreamers Club -- Worth it?

We just bought a GS MH this month. In the packet of materials is a sheet about joining the "Gulfstreamers International Recreational Vehicle Club" for $25 per year.

What are the real benefits of doing this and is it worth the money?

We have been members of the Gulf Streamers for four years ever since we purchased our first GS MH in August '02. We just joined the local chapter, Gulf Streamers Ohio Cardinals in June.

We like attending some of the rally's especially the Back Home Rally held in Goshen, Indiana. You get to meet some very interesting people at the rallys. Plus they all own the same manufactured name brand that you do, compare notes and get factory service for small repairs right at the rally.

In Florida the local Gulf Streamers chapters are the Florida Gators and the Manatees.

If you enjoy rally's then it is for you. I must say that we didn't know how much we enjoyed them until we joined the Gulf Streamers and attended our first, since then we try to make every one we can.

Some of the dealers pay for your first year of membership when you purchase a new Gulf Stream, I would check to see if that is the case with your dealer.

The Back Home rally is held the third week of June and is at the fairground
in Goshen IN. Good entertainment, games, prizes, factory tours , vendors and lots of good food. The fellowship is great. You have to be a member of the Gulf Stream club in order to go. You can find information about the Gulfstreamers club by contacting [email protected]. You will be able to find out the location of the chapters, rallies that are up coming as well as special events.
There are presently two chapters in Florida. This is the unformation I have.

Maggie has given you some good information but I might add that you must be a Gulf Streamers International Club Member to join a local chapter. But you can attend one of the local chapter rallies as a guest. One must also own a Gulf Stream product of course, that is the only requirement. There is also a fee for each rally to cover the expenses.
