I have 2007 Gulf Stream Vista Crusier.
The fresh water pump doesn't have any water pressure when turned on. The pump is running, but no water flow in any of the faucets. The fresh water tank has ample water in it. I am assuming there is something wrong with the pump. Questions I have on fixing the pump.
1. How do you drain the fresh water tank when the pump isn't working?
2. How do get access to the pump? From the outside, it is left of trap door with no room to get both hands into work on the pump. Doesn't appear to have an access door from the inside.
3. Once the pump is removed, what parts can be replaced?

Thanks for your help.

I figured out how to drain the fresh water tank. There is a relief valve right in front of the water tank. Pulling it up started draining the tank. Although it drains at a tinkling pace. Will have to wait until tomorrow to work on removing the pump.

Hi,

First, did you check if the 3 way valve (for winterizing) at the suction of the pump is in the right position ?

The valve is set properly. The fresh water system had been working fine all season. This problem just occurred the last time I turned on the internal water switch.

I resolved the issue. There is a filter between the fresh water tank and the pump. There is no way to check the filter without draining the tank because the tank water will empty into the box area where the filter and tank are stored and no place for the water to drain. Nice design! After I drained the fresh water tank which took many hours, I removed the filter and discovered it was clogged. Cleaned out the screen. Added water to the tank and the pump is working again.

Thanks, John for following up with the solution to your pump problem. It may help someone else solve the same problem, at least it will be a place to check.
