Experiencing difficulty getting my key into the keyhole for the deadlock on the units door. There is an outer metal slide that is difficult to move in order to get the key past it and into the keyhole. Has anyone experience this and if so, what is the fix?

Try WD40 to lube it.

Did try WD-40 and that did not work. Lock assembly was replaced by dealer, no more problem. Definitely a defective lock cylinder.

I did experience the same problem on my 2013 ERD. Had to replace the whole look ass'y.

You must be very carefull when lock/de-lock and make sure that the key is in the vertical (not horizontal) position before removing the key from the the lock cylinder. I don't know why, but if you remove the key when the lock cylinder is in the horizontal position, it will damage the cylinder and you will not be able to reinsert the key after. This is what happend to me. Very real cheap lock cylinder...
