I have a Whirlpool washer and dryer in my Tour Master. It will not advance to the spin mode. Has anyone had any experience with this problem?

We have the same coach. The first time my wife used our washer shortly after buying the coach, it just went through the cycle and when finished, the drum was full of water. It was still under warranty, so we called Whirlpool and they contacted a local repairman where we were located out west. It had to be removed in order to check it out, and it was a real problem for them to get it out. It is fastened to the wall in the back and the dryer is attached to the washer.

After they got it out, they found that the belt was off the pulley. It was put back on and has worked every since.

Thanks for the response. The belt was on my list but never had to go that far. I went on Google and did some research and came up with a list of things to check. The first was the lint filter located in front at the bottom right. I did not have to go any farther. it was full of sludge and things, to the point that water could barely pass through it. I cleaned it and all is well. When wife came home it showed her the junk that I had removed from the machine and she said that she wondered what that thing located in front at the bottom right was for. You don't know how hard it is to keep your mouth shut in times like these.

It is amazing what you can find on the internet for trouble shooting this stuff.

My home Washer had a Bobby Pin stuck in the pump.

Thanks for the tip. You asked for help and I'm the one that received it. I told my wife how your problem was resolved, and her reply was that she wondered what that little door was for. We immediately checked it out and cleaned the filter, although ours had very little gunk in it. I guess I could have had the same problem down the road.
