My wife and I are thinking about spending a winter in Mexico and I have a few logistical questions.

1) Cell phone service. We have AT&T. Any issues? What do I need to ask for?
2) Travelling with a pet. Any problems taking the pooch in either direction?
3) Propane/diesel. I'm pretty sure there are no issues with these, but have to ask to be sure.
4) Auto insurance
5) Doctor/hospital...Pretty sure everything is out of network, so the question is not coverage. More concerned with availability(and I guess it depends on where we are staying)
6) Any recommendations on RV parks? (So far, looking at Puerto Penasco)
7) Anything else I should know?

NOTE: No opinions on geo/political or safety concerns on why I shouldn't travel to Mexico.

My wife and I are just starting to look into this, too, but for work...not fun. So far, we've only solved the phone issue with AT&T's Viva Mexico plan -- http://www.wireless.att.com/learn/inter ... mexico.jsp (http://www.wireless.att.com/learn/international/viva-mexico.jsp)

Coverage map is at the bottom of the page.

Just joined the group as I am looking at purchasing a 1998 40ft Friendship pusher with 51K on the clock. I was looking at similar coaches like Dutchstar that seems to have a good reputation and would like to hear comments on this model.
