Headlight Upgrade

My 1998 GS Sun Voyager has Wagner 8214 sealed beams. I need more light on the road and want at least a halogen or better upgrade. I googled Wagner 8124 and see a halogen sealed beam part # 6054. Advertisement says 40% better lighting, I was hoping for more. Has anyone upgraded their incandescent 8214 to something that provides better than 40% offered by halogen, without major rewiring and fitting into stock housing?

The led lighting works, if you have daytime running lights on the high beams, you need to disable it. Also make sure you bave proper power & ground at the lights, use your volt meter with the lights still installed, engine running, check power & ground ,it should be close to your battery voltage
