Is the cover hiding the screws just a snap on type? I need to see why the hinge is coming away from the body of the coach.

Thanks, John

What hinge are you talking about John. You lost me there. Not sure what a belt rail is and what you are asking? Can you post a picture of the problem or explain a little more in detail. Sorry!

Sure Ray. The long hinge that the compartment doors are connected to for the basement.

Thanks, John

Well I went out and looked at the compartment where all the fuses are which is right under the drivers seat and on my Scenic Cruiser it seem like there are some screws on the door itself. Then on the other end of the hinge it seems like it just wraps around a rod which is part of the bottom molding which runs all the way from the front of the coach to the rear. I suppose your Scenic Cruiser is just like mine, from that molding down it is all aluminum. So it seems like you have to remove the end of the molding and the door should slide right out. Now that is the front compartment door. I did not check the others to see how they come off.

Thanks Ray Yes I looked closer at mine and the end cap comes off but the cover that hides the screws on the hinge itself has to pop off but you must cut the caulk along the top edge of the hinge.

Thanks again John The rivit holding the hinge to the body at the end was broken off. Fixed now
