I just returned from my first trip, I stopped by my dealer with some warranty issues. First reply from them is we cant get to if for at least two weeks, yikes!!
warranty items I discussed with dealer.
1. ref. does not work on 120v
2. grey water line leak
3. fender skirt cracked
4. water heater leak, (PEK fitting had been replaced with a automotive type fitting, and was loose)
5.light above bed had been installed about 1/2 " out of square
6. trim on corner of bathroom loose
7. trim around toilet installed very sloppy
well the dealer will only fix items 1,2 and 3. The dealer said Gulf stream will not cover items 4 thru 7. and they will not fix them. the dealer said it's more of a stuctural warranty, WOW! Gulf stream has a workmanship warranty. After talking to a reputable RV repair center, Gulfstream does not like to pay for their warranty repair work !!! This RV repair center refuses to do any Gulf Stream warranty work, Yikes again
the attitude of the selling dealer (Cape Fear RV and Marine) was poor at best. I will NEVER buy from them again, I may never buy Gulf Stream again
