You don't need to hook up both. Use your black water hose if you're going to be discharging both gray and black water. Use the gray hose if you're only going to be using gray water. Some campsites have hookups for sewer, which is black. Some only have hookups for gray though. Does this make sense?

Might be some confusion here -- but since I do not have that specific model coach, let me try a generic discussion.

I presumed that the original poster was talking about a 'wet bay' with floor fitting to pass the waste hose from the dump valve located in the bay (usually a "Y" of two valves for black and gray and resulting in one large fitting to which the waste hose attaches...) AND a fresh water hose.

On my coach the fresh water source to the interior plumbing and manifold valve comes in at a separate wall fitting/door -- but there is a fresh water hose spigot in the wet bay along with a shower wand and hot/cold faucets. That hose bib is used to source clean water to my SaniFlush tank spray valve, among other things. I am not at my coach right now but believe that there is an additional floor fitting for the fresh water hose to egress...

Don MC -- a picture would go a long way to help end any ambiguities on what you were describing...
