Has anyone had problems with their vehicle not charging the trailer battery when the fridge is on 12V.
I have a Dometic RML8555 3-way fridge. I have it wired so that it automatically selects 12V when the van is started. This way it stays on 12V for 15 min after shutting the van off. Great for gas stops. It worked great for a year. Now, even though the van is putting out 13.5V at the trailer plug, as soon as I put the fridge on 12V manually or automatically, the voltage at the battery drops down to the trailer battery voltage. As I drive the fridge continues to drain the battery, even though the trailer is plugged in to the van. I can run on propane, but I would prefer to be on 12V while I am driving. The fridge works fine on 120V and on 12V if the trailer is plugged into AC power.
Any thoughts. Possibly the control PCB?

Sounds like the fridge itself is working fine. I'd guess the TV isn't able to supply enough current (amperage) to operate the fridge. Given that it worked in the past, it could be corrosion on a connection somewhere.
