hydraulic door

Does anyone know if it is ok to take the hydraulic door stop of my Visa 19RSD, it is starting to pull out of the side wall. OR is there a way to secure it better. If I take it off, is it possible to get one of those t-locks and install in above the wheel well to hold the door open.

Boy wish I could answer that question we have a Vintage Cruiser and it has the friction door which I like as it can be stopped in any position but takes some getting used to.
