I have a 2007 Kingsport 235 and the roof airconditioner is noisy.
It is not a broken mechanical sound, rather when the fan is on, it is blowing air so hard that it make a lot of noise. Too much noise to sleep with the A/C on. :(
It does get plenty cold, but I can't sleep with it making so much noise and sleeping without A/C around here in the summer is not an option (way too hot and humid).
It is a 13,500 BTU unit that came with the trailer when I bought it. It has two fan speeds, and the lower speed is only slightly less forceful (noisy) than the higher speed. The fan is what is making all of the noise.
Does anyone know if there is a way to add another speed control to the fan? Is there anyway to make it less noisy?
