Hi all,

I am 24 and currently live in Ohio and I bought a 1990 gulfstream ultra 23ft (30k original miles) with my sister. We bought the RV in June of this year and we are living in the RV full time with our dog Max. Starting next week we will be heading to Florida, and then making our way out west. Renovating the rv has been a challenge, but we have learned a lot about it in the process. We still have a few problems, but nothing too major. (Gas smell in the cab and trouble with the house battery charging)

Here is a link to the imgur album with pics of our gulfstream and our reno

Thanks for reading!

Nice work!
That old joker has a cover over the engine bay on the inside, perhaps there's some air leaks between that cover and the chassis floor. Old trucks / vans frequently smell of gasoline when hot and turned off. If the gasket isn't perfect, that smell will leak into the cabin. You may be able to buy new gasket material from Ford or adapt something from Home Depot or something.
