Step cover

The step cover on our 03 Friendship quit working. checked fuse it is good.
Can only get 1.8 volts at switch. There was a problem with the step when we purchased the rig. Used. Noticed that switch says 20 amp and fuse is 25 amp. Looks like maybe the motor might have been working to hard and they put in an over sized fuse. Hope it isn't the motor as I can't find any literature for it. Any ideas.

If you truely have 1.8 volts at the switch then you have a very poor connection someplace. If the fuse were blown you would have 0 volts. Look for corroded connections or simply run a new circuit to the switch.

Thanks Wizard, I will check it out as est I can. That dash switch has eight or nine wires going to it.

We got it fixed. Had to buy a "Step Cover Kit" Couldn't just buy a new motor for $50 had to buy the $260 "Kit" the only way Gulfstream sell it. But it works and DW is happy.
