I am a newbie to this site and relatively new to RVing.

We have just purchased a 5245 BT Cruiser and am outfitting it for its first use. I don't want to store the sewer hose in one of the few small outside storage compartments.

I am thinking about a piece of gutter or large tube mounted underneath somewhere.

I would appreciate any and all recommendations for best practices on keeping the stinky slinky at bay.

many thanks and looking forward to being part of the group!

Hello Cary
Welcome to this forum and congratulations on your purchase

If you are a handy man, you could use a PVC pipe or fence post in any hardware store.

Enjoy your new hobby:p

Many thanks for the response and I really appreciate the welcome!

I found a near perfect place in the BT Cruiser 5245 just in front of the black tank. The only problem is the curve of the compartment door frame interferes with sliding an entire length of post in.

I was able to cut the post down to 62" to allow that piece to make the swing. This will allow for 20' of sewer hose.

Here are pictures of what I have done for the project.
thanks,
CaryL

Hello Caryl

I like the way you've done for the elbow, it's a very good idea.

Your photos are very appreciated, they will help others.

Enjoy your season!

Any ideas on how/what to replace that silly short sewer hose storage tube on front of GS vintage RV trailer?

I like the idea here, right now I put a wash tub in the same bay as the batteries, fits right there and i have it sitting on 2 L brackets that hold batteries
