It is the EGR cooler. Common problem. Freightliner can pressure test. May see some light smoke from tailpipe. Also can look at top of cooler near the rear and see light grey corrosion.

The inverter is making electricity when you are off shore power. It will get hot. It would seem that if there was a short in the coach the inverter would trip internally and shut off the AC.

On the generator right in front of the oil fill there is an access plate. If you open that up the radiator pressure cap is in there and two fuses. It pulls out hard and comes out about 6-7 inches....
