I have used a mixtute of bleach and water (50-50) in a spray bottle quite successfully. Cover everything below spot so as not to bleach. Usually just let to dry, but you can lightly rub spot.

My Ultra Supreme is set up the same way. I think its a good idea to ensure the black tank has enough water to flush out the solids when dumping. Have not had a 'problem' with it filling up too fast....
