Re: Visa Water Leak - Check your SKIRTS

Just stopping in to say thanks again. We've had rain off and on since yesterday late afternoon (good thing we used quick curing caulk!) and the wheel well is bone dry.

Re: Visa 23BHD actual weight - loaded

Good data, thanks for posting your findings! We have neglected to have ours weighed since we aren't anywhere close to the limits on the Tundra, but still something we have been meaning to do.

Re: TV mounting in 23BHD Visa

OK, so we were out this past weekend and it was chilly and damp overnight, so we woke up to some condensation on the camper which clearly outlined the inner structure...lo and behold, look at this...

It is a new model, we have the BHD and love it...but had the CSK been available last year I'm not sure which way we would have gone (theBHD has wider bunks, which is nice if you ever want to fit...

Re: TV mounting in 23BHD Visa

Well, huh, that's interesting!

We must have mounted to the wood you found close to the cabinet. And that works for us since we angle the TV when we do have it up, and like I said we travel with...

Re: TV mounting in 23BHD Visa

Interesting response from Gulf Stream on the backer board at the sticker location. Like I said in my response on the other thread, we just looked for a stud, which was a few inches over from the...

Re: 19 Ft Visa GVW Concern

I also hope someone with that model is available nearby for you! If not, perhaps you can look at any Visa...which is what we did. We really wanted to get a feel for the build quality, etc. We saw...

Re: Winter Camping with a Visa

We went out a few times in cold weather in our previous trailer and while smaller, I think the same condensation effect is universal. With our Aliner the extruded aluminum edging would be where the...

Re: Towing a Visa 19 RGU

Actually our '05 is a 3.5l V6. 3500 lb. published tow capacity. But the family, gear, and terrain are key. We also did not try a WDH...had we not decided that we wanted something bigger trailer...

Re: Towing a Visa 19 RGU

Remember to factor in your gear and family members when figuring out your tow setup. Often the max tow capacity only allows for the weight of the driver. Also figure in the weight of water in the...

We do plan to add some sort of rear light mod to assist in...

Re: Amerilite wall A/C

I can give you my two cents, but it might not be worth much. We used to have an Aliner, which uses wall units. Much, much smaller amount of cubic feet, but I can say that our little A chilled down...
