I have two separate tanks, a pump, and a faucet just for drinking water. Before that I used jugs just so I knew I had good water to drink. Dirty tanks and plumbing is no joke. Plastic remembers. You need to start with food grade and stay with food grade. Putting antifreeze in a tank you will drink out of and pumping that stuff through your plumbing doesn't make sense to me.
Thank you after I hooked up to the RV parks water system I was still getting black coal looking water until I let it ran until it was all flushed out. I do have a water filter system just for drinking and no black coal looking water came out of it. I'm just going to have to drain the fresh water tank and take it back to have them really flush out the entire water lines.
