You are correct, the International trucks do not have an ODB2 diagnostic port. You need a special scanner used on large trucks to read the engine and body codes on an international.
If you are interested, I think LTC_R has a Scangauge Display in his 6400 that will display codes. You can do a search for Scangauge to find the posting.
