Watching this thread as I'm curious. I want to verify from your signature,


160hp, 400 lb-ft torque, correct?


May want to know the best RPM to maintain for grade as well since the max hp is at 2500 RPM's and the rated max torque is only at 1600 RPM's. On my 230hp, I think around 2100-2200 RPM's was suggested for me (seemed to put more weight on HP when going up hill) but will have to look at my notes.


Interesting that my 230hp is not even listed in this Cummins Timeline, perhaps this site only lists the engines for the Dodge trucks:
