FredF, TIP-1: During Pre-trip Inspection, also check that the NUTS on the METAL VALVE STEMS are snug/ tight; a loose NUT was what caused my slow leak that lead to a flat and tire loss.... I was clueless when I first found my (slightly low) tire and has so much trouble to air it back up. TIP-2: Have all tools, including Torque Wrench and Know/ document the Torque SPECS, even w/ ERA. My service truck took 6-hours to arrive at midnight on a Holiday weekend in a small town, (he had to repair broken air line on his tow vehicle, drop a tow, change vehicles and travel 100-miles from where he received initial notice.... did not have a tool to remove hub cap, (i HAD TOOL) and thought torque was 100-ftlbs, when it was 140. I had him tighten to 130, since I was uncertain... I had all except torque wrench, jack and lug wrench...
WM was my first stop after.. for tools and tires. (Class-C w/ 3/4"dia x8-lugs torque is 140#, the 5-Lug x1/2" dia Lugs torque is 100#
