I am pretty sure if the control is on the turn signal lever it is a GM type. Ford has the buttons on the horn button in the center of the steering wheel. I happen to have one of each. The Ford has an assy called a "clockspring" that is a wire harness that goes under the steering wheel and carries all of the switch signals. The GM does not have that as far as I know.
