Hi James, I have a 235RB, I'm not sure what the rating is but I do know I love my bikes and don't want harm to come to them at anything following me. On my last trailer I had the bumper reinforced at welding shop with a couple corner brackets that were welded to the frame and bumper, a triangular piece. The rear bumper on these rigs is made from pretty thin metal and and I had a hitch receiver that fit on the bumper, worked like a charm! Hope this helps. Ric
