11B, you should be getting better mileage then what you are reporting. Maybe you have a heavy foot
The 42' Friendship is a heavy coach, but all I have read about the ISL 400 is that it gets around 8-9 mpg.
Have you checked your air filter lately? Sometimes when they start getting dirty they start using lots of fuel.
