The trailer is 3300 lbs the load capacity is 1125 lbs and the tongue weight is 340. I can get 13" radial tires in D rating with 6800 lbs for the 4 tires. I might think that is good enough.
The tire guy thought the 14" 205 75 14 D tires might cause the light trailer to have more bounce as the load range would be over 8000 lbs.
