Well it seems all my troubles are a result of algae in the fuel. I did some research and this seems to be a growing problem (pardon the pun) as a result of regulations for diesel. International wants to put a water separator on, with cleaning etc ~$1700. This is a brand new truck (6700 miles) and I asked why it didn't come with one? They said it was recommended for RV use since they tend to sit dormant for extended periods. Anyone else encountered algae issues?
