Unfortunately, when you say rehang it, you must be referring to the rear axle. That means the drive axle is not in correct alignment, and the only means of correcting that is to cut the axle free from the chassis and rehang it. It happens, and I am happy to know that Freightliner is willing to do this. You are correct, this is a major safety issue/problem. Get it done pronto.
