When I ordered my 6331 in early 2007, I was told that it would come with one fuel tank due to weight consideration on the front axle. When it came in some 12 weeks later, it had dual fuel tanks (whew). The front axle according to my ISIS report from International says it has a 10,000# axle. I have weighed the coach full of fuel and the front axle weight is actually 9180# with driver and passenger which is still below the rating for the axle.

If you go to a local International dealer and give your VIN# to them, they can run you an ISIS report for the build of the coach you are looking to purchase.

If the front axle component code is 0002ADC (AXLE, FRONT NON-DRIVING {International I-100SG} I-Beam Type, 10,000-lb Capacity), it should accommodate the second fuel tank IMHO. If the front axle is rated less than 10,000, I would not consider installing the second fuel tank.
