Default New to rv's

hello everyone just found your site, looks like it will come on handy. I bought a 32' gs cavalier fema trailer and once i set it up at the camp i noticed there are 2 water hookups coming from under the lavatory to the outside. What are these for? i have a city hooukup to hookup to but just capped these 2 lines off. are they for an external hot water heater, am i ok with just capping them off? thanks for any advice.

The two lines are there to allow folks in a disaster area to hook up hot and cold water to a washing machine. I guess a person would have a small shed to put the washer in....

Sounds like the low point drains to me. The are used to drain the water system for winterizing.
