Default Water pump failure?

When I hook up to the campground water and keep the water pump off, the fresh water tank slowly fills and overflows. I think it is a failure in the water pump internal check valve. The RV dealer doesn't seem to know what to do and so far I have had no response to my e-mail from Gulf Stream.

Does anyone have suggestions?

I think you right, its about the only thing it could be.....unless you have a crossover valve to fill the water tank from the city water hookup.
What kind of rig do you have?
