We have a 2003 Gulf Stream Yellowstone that seems to have an electrical problem
?
I have installed all new batteries and after about 3 weeks all of the batteries are dead?
The last time I turned off the two disconnects in the bay. That didn't seem to help at all as the batteries are again dead.
As I was wondering why the batteries would be dead, since I thought turning off the disconnects would shut off the power from the batteries.
While looking around I saw that the Xantrex control panel still had lights on
:
Battery State = Full Charge
AC IN = Green Light
Fault - Red Light
Overtemp = Red Light
Charge = Green Light
No other lights are on.
In the bay on the drivers side there are two battery minders, both had green lights on.
I turned off the breakers on the inverter and still has power on the control panel inside the RV?
I know that there is another battery disconnect inside the RV, just inside the door. This disconnect doesn't seem to do anything either.
We have only owned the YellowStone for about 9 months and this is our first DP. Our other RV was a gas model and it sat for Months without the batteries going dead?
Thanks in advance for any assistance. I took pictures of all of the disconnects and panel, but couldn't find if it was okay to attach them.
