Default Specs for 2008 Canyon Trail by GS

I am the proud owner of a 2008 Canyon Trail. At the time I purchased this RV in 2010 the dealer did not have an owners manual with 2008 specs. He handed me a 2009 manual indicating that the specs are the same as 2008. Where can I get accurate specs for my 2008 Canyon Trail. Question? From what I have read about Canyon Trail, it seems that my 33 foot 5th wheel has a Fresh Water capacity of 60 gals. After several tries of "measured" water, the most that I can get in my tank is 20 gallons of fresh water. I have measured 20 gallons coming out and 20 gallons going in. Does this capacity of 20 gallons of fresh water sound correct with this MODEL 33FBHT. Thanks, Dave Ronan

The vent for your fresh water tank is probably plugged, if you use a small hose and blow into the vent it will clear out and you will be able to fill the tank. You should have a 60 gallon tank.

Tim and Cindy: Thank you. By blowing into the air vent I was able to clear out some water that had prevented air from entering and plugging my 60 gal fresh water tank. Everything is now the way it is suppose to be.......60 gallons of fresh water. Thank you once again. Dave Ronan

Hi Dave, glad all is okay now. I had the same problem with both my Canyon Trails, I usually have to clear the vent line at least once a year.
