Default Chevy Traverse as a tow vehicle

Looking for a new tow vehicle. We currently have a Honda CRV but would like something with more space for carrying cargo. We are now considering a Chevy Traverse and would like a review from someone who has towed in four wheels down. Also, do you know of any type of product we can use to eliminate the need to pull all the fuses every time you hook up.
Thanks

Have friends that tow an Equinox with no problem and am planning to purchase one for ourselves this summer. Only one easy to get to fuse to pull but companies such as Blue Ox sell a kit that plugs into the existing fuse location and has a separate fuse and switch. Turning the switch off is the same as pulling the fuse.

Thanks for this great info. Also, when you use this blue ox product, do you have to reset the clock and the radio after every trip when you have in effect toggled off the fuses you would have otherwise pulled?

Since the owners manual says to pull only fuse 32, and that the radio has it's own fuses, doubt that there is any effect.

I just can not figure why some of you guys have to pull fuses off the toad. If who ever does the wiring If they install the proper diodes there should be no draw on the battery. I tow my Honda CRV for four hundred miles and the battery is still strong when I arrive. But I do turn everything inside the toad off. Radio, heater and anything that is a constant draw off. Never had a dead battery yet on three different toads I have had.

We have a Honda CRV as well and we do not pull any fuses either. We are concerned because not pulling the fuses may void the warranty. Also, I have yet to find someone who tows a Chevy Traverse to find out if you can actually tow it without pulling fuses. But thanks for weighing in - always interested to get all sides of the issue.

Kate P have you asked on RV.NET forum to see if anybody tows a Chevy Traverse? It is a much bigger forum. Might be worth a try.

Personally I hate that forum because it has its little pets that can post anything they want, but if I post something that the click does not like, they will delete my post. But it is a bigger forum and you might be able to get the info your looking for.
