Default No start

I installed new batts & now won’t start! The 3060 trans gear indicator doesn’t light up. Checked all fuses. Worked in it for 3 days. I’m at a dead end! Help!!

I would guess you missed something, but I think you know that
Ok, what kind of rig? Diesel gas? How many batteries? 6volt? 12volt? A little late but tale a pic before removing, is that the only thing dead? You say it won't start, what is working and what's not?

1999 8362svb, 3060 trans, 8.3 cummins, Spartan chassis. Dash lights up gauges work, jacks work, trans pad does not light up. Checked all fuses & relays. As a result the nutural relay doesn't close (by looking at the wire diagram)

I've read that people have had issues with a trans harness plug corroding, sounded like more of inline than on the trans, but someplace to look as it sounds trans related, good luck

Guessing you either 1) dropped a smaller wire and left it off the battery or 2) Installed battery reverse polarity or 3) tripped a 12vdc Circuit Breaker or 4) Blew a fusible link? If (2), then (3) and/or (4) may also apply?
