Default Basement compartments gaskey

On an 07, 6362, has anyone experienced road debris getting into the basement compartments?

It seems, especially the compartment in front of and behind the rear wheel gets road debris.

I have checked the gaskets but they seems to be in good condition. It appears the "u" bolt part of the latch is adjustable but if it is adjusted, would not that door be out of line with the other doors??

Anyone know how to check the gaskets??

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Wait until dark and turn on your compartment light. Lay underneath and look for light coming out. I found light "leaking" out and used stick on weather stripping and it sealed up great. After a full season I had to re-apply the strips because they shifted. Very cheap way to fix.
